Whenever I go on vacation, I buy yarn that I couldn’t get elsewhere. When I came to Alaska last year, I bought two skeins of Superwash Wool in Blue Haze. I decided to knit a tote bag, in colors and impressions that reminded me of the blue ice glaciers, the beautiful blue seas and skies, and the gorgeous fluffy mountain snows. I decided to knit the yarn while I was watching the Iditarod – you know, get in the Alaska spirit! Here’s my finished project. "I purchased a skein of your yarn, from a shop in Fairbanks. Just wanted to tell you the yarn is fabulous. I waited until I found the design that I thought would be right for the yarn. I knitted a scarf for myself and I am so happy with it and the yarn. I hope to purchase more yarn, if I get to visit the shop again, as I will be in Fairbanks the latter part of this month.
